Hilary did some shopping at Maxwell Dog in Studio City last week. It looks like she picked up a new dog bed, along with a bag full of dog goodies.

Here's a pleasant surprise: Hilary Duff will be featured as the cover girl of the January 2009 issue of Maxim Magazine. Its been a slow couple of months for Hilary so it's nice to see her getting her name out there again in a big time way. Maxim is has even pegged her as "the one to watch" in 2009 out of all the young Hollywood starlets.

So will 2009 be a breakout year for Hilary, or just more of the same?
